| The Joint Commission (TJC) has issued revisions to standard EC.5.40, EP 14 that are effective as of January 1, 2008. In July, 2007 TJC issued revisions to EC.5.40, EP 14, but in September 2007 they rescinded those revisions pending further investigation into the impact of the changed standard.
