| The Joint Commission (TJC) has issued a correction for Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) for the Provision of Care Standard 2.120, effective immediately. According to TJC, within the September update of the Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Critical Access Hospitals the following was erroneously printed under PC.2.1.20:Element of Performance (EP) 2: A medical history and physical examination are completed no more than 30 hours prior to or within 24 hours after inpatient admission.
