| The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has launched a new Hospital-Acquired Conditions (HAC) and Present on Admission (POA) Indicator web page, a link to which is located in the references below, in order to provide reliable and timely information for providers. The new web page includes information on regulations, reporting, and coding.
