| The OIG has issued a final rule that creates a safe harbor under the anti-kickback statute to protect certain financial arrangements involving health centers funded under section 330 of the Public Health Service Act. The final rule, effective December 3, 2007, states that community health centers funded under section 330 of the Public Service Heath Act will not be considered to be in violation of the anti-kickback statute so long a financial arrangement meets nine standards.
