| The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the start of participant recruitment for the Post Acute Care Payment Reform Demonstration (PAC-PRD). Congress mandated the PAC-PRD in the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and recommendations generated by the demonstration will be included in as report to Congress that also is mandated as part of the same law.
