| The Joint Commission has announced that it is extending the compliance date for converting existing Life Safety Code deficiencies into electronic Plans for Improvement (e-PFI). The extended compliance date of September 1, 2007 is for all organizations and applies to Life Safety Code deficiencies with a projected completion date after September 1, 2007.
