| CMS has announced a second public comment period for the revised versions of the Important Message from Medicare (IM) (CMS-R-193), and the Detailed Notice of Discharge (CMS 10066).
These two notices are associated with CMS-4105-F, the final rule establishing revised requirements for how hospitals must notify Medicare beneficiaries who are hospital inpatients about their discharge appeal rights. Comments will be accepted through Sunday, May 6, 2007.
