| The Joint Commission (JC) has recently released a report entitled Hospitals, Language, and Culture: A Snapshot of the Nation, Compiled List of Resources, which recommends specific strategies to address language barriers and cultural issues in hospitals.
The report, which is available free of charge at the JC website via the link located in the references below, analyzed practices at 60 hospitals nationwide, identifying challenges in providing care to culturally diverse patient populations....
