| According to the Joint Commission (JC), between the period of January 2006 and July 2006, 17% of hospitals and 13% of critical access hospitals were noncompliant with Information Management Standard 6.10. Standard IM.6.10 states that for patients assessed, cared for, treated or served, the hospital shall have a complete medical record.
