| In October 2006 the FDA issued a Class I recall for LifeScan’s OneTouch® Ultra® blood glucose test strips and OneTouch® Basic®/Profile® blood glucose test strips.
According to the FDA, the blood glucose test strips listed in the October 2006 recall are counterfeit versions of LifeScan’s products.
