| JCAHO is seeking comments from the field on proposed revisions to Emergency Management Standards. The revisions will be applicable to the Critical Access Hospitals, Hospitals and Long Term Care Accreditation Programs. Comments will be accepted through January 19, 2007.
JCAHO’s review of emergency management planning, including the review of natural disasters, wild fires and the terrorist attack of 9/11 yielded the following conclusions:
