| JCAHO has issued revisions to PC.16.10 – PC.16.60, effective January 1, 2007. This is part two of a three-part StayAlert notice reviewing the revisions to the Provision of Care Standards. Today’s notice reviews PC.16.30 and PC.16.40. Tomorrow’s notice will review standards PC.16.50 and PC.16.60.
Revised Standard PC.16.30 states that staffs receive specific training and orientation for the tests that they perform. Staff must demonstrate satisfactory levels of competence for those tests.
