| JCAHO Issues Changes to EP Scoring Categories for Disease Specific Care Programs
JCAHO has made changes to Element of Performance (EP) scoring categories, effective immediately, for disease specific certification programs.
According to JCAHO, the scoring changes should make requirements clearer and reduce subjectivity. Sixty-two (62) of the one hundred twenty five (125) EPs in the Disease Specific Care Certification Manual have been re-categorized.
