| The FDA has issued a statement listing points in a recent article about automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in the Journal of the American Medical Association on which the agency disagrees.
According to the FDA, the JAMA article, titled Recalls and Safety Alerts Affecting Automated External Defibrillators helps inform the public about the safety of AEDs. The FDA supports this kind of research and most of the conclusions reached in the JAMA article are consistent with FDA's own findings.... The full article is available to StayAlert subscribers.
