| The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has released draft standards for 2007 and is seeking public comment on the proposed standards by April 7, 2006.
The proposed standards include four new Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures. Three of the new measures assess medical outcomes in areas of cardiac and diabetes care. A fourth measure assesses glaucoma screening among the Medicare Advantage Plan population.
