| The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has proposed several draft measures for the 2006 Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS). The draft measures focus on the overuse of healthcare services (i.e., antibiotics prescribed for patients with viral illnesses), accurate diagnosis, elder health and oversight of medications used to treat children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
