| In the latest update to the JCAHO standards manuals, a revision to Medical Staff standard MS.1.20 has been published. The revisions address removal of medical staff executive committee members and organized medical staff officers. The revisions also include an addition of element of performance number nineteen which clarifies several requirements for medical staff governance.
