| The FDA announced approval of marketing clearance for an external surgical marker device that should help reduce the possibility of wrong-site, wrong-procedure and wrong-patient surgery incidents. The device is called the SurgiChip Tag Surgical Marker system, manufactured by SurgiChip Inc.
