| The FDA has reported that the medication Reminyl (galantamine hydrobromide) which is a reversible, competitive acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, prescribed for the treatment of Alzheimer's related dementia, has been prescribed with the medication Amaryl (glimepiride) being dispensed and administered in error.
