| The March 2005, the FDA and PharMEDium Services issued a notice alerting healthcare professionals about the withdrawal of one lot of PharMEDium's Magnesium Sulfate intravenous solution - 1 (one) gram in 50 mL D5W (in IV piggyback form) due to possible contamination with Serratia marcescens. The lot number of the affected Magnesium Sulfate (1 gm in 50 mL D5W IV piggyback) was 100504900049, with an expiration date of 4-4-05.
