| JCAHO's new standard, HR.1.25 and revised standard MS.4.110 state that an organization may assign disaster responsibilities to volunteer practitioners. The new and revised standards go into effect on July 1, 2006.
This standard addresses only those practitioners that are required by law and regulation to be licensed, have certification or registration to practice.
