| JCAHO is seeking comments from the field on proposed certification requirements for hospitals in the management of inpatients with diabetes. The deadline for comment submission is March 10, 2006.
The proposed requirements are based on American Diabetes Association standards and would be a requirement for obtaining and sustaining advanced certification in the management of patients with diabetes as inpatients.
