| Effective January 2006, JCAHO will expect accredited healthcare organizations to update the PPR annually.
Full Periodic Review:
If a healthcare organization does not select Option 1, 2 or 3 it must annually update and send the Joint Commission its PPR and if applicable, the Plan of Action and Measure of Success (MOS). All standard areas found not to be in compliance during the PPR must be addressed in the Plan of Action.
