| The CDC recently published an article discussing the smallpox vaccine and a relationship to cardiac issues in some patients. The CDC notes that monitoring of patients given the smallpox vaccination has identified a potential relationship between the vaccination and myocarditis, pericarditis, myopericarditis, angina and heart attack.
