| The FDA has issued a notification to healthcare professionals alerting them to a voluntary recall by Kingswood Laboratories, Inc. of their Moi-Stir Oral Swabsticks, used to provide moisture in the oral cavity and physically clean the mouth, thin phlegm and reduce dental carries. The recall is due to findings in some of the swabsticks of molds, including Aspergillus and Penicillium. Patients may be exposed to the mold through the swabsticks and develop respiratory infections.
