| The FDA announced that Ortho-McNeil Neurologics, Inc. has modified the precautions component of the prescribing information for the medication Reminyl (galantamine hydrobromide) to indicate an incidence of deaths in patients with mild cogitative impairment taking the medication. Reminyl is a reversible, competitive acetylcholinesterase inhibitor used in the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.
