| The FDA and PharMEDium Services have issued a notification regarding the withdrawal of one lot of PharMEDium's Magnesium Sulfate intravenous solution - 1 (one) gram in 50 mL D5W, in IV piggyback form. The FDA and PharMEDium state that the lot may be contaminated with Serratia marcescens. Magnesium Sulfate is often administered to individuals undergoing cardiac procedures.
