| The FDA has issued a notice announcing Pulmonetic Systems, Inc.'s voluntary recall their Universal Cable Adaptors, which are used to power medical ventilators. The recall involves 1,129 adaptors which were distributed between November 2 and November 8, 2004. When the effected adaptors are utilized with the ventilator's power cord, the adaptor may not allow the ventilator to power up if the internal battery on the ventilator is depleted.
