| The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued a proposed rule that will change payment rates and policies for inpatient services in acute care hospitals under the Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) for fiscal year (FY) 2011, beginning October 1, 2010.
