| The Joint Commission (TJC) is providing clarification for hospitals regarding their use of credentials verification organizations (CVOs) in light of changes to standards MS.13.01.01 EP 1 and LD.04.03.09, EP 4 effective July 15, 2010 for hospitals that use TJC for deemed status.
