| The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Health Advisory notifying healthcare providers of potential cases of mumps during a multi-state outbreak. According to the CDC, the majority of the recent cases of mumps have been in the greater New York area, in the Hasidic (Jewish) community.
