| The Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) is scheduled for publication in May 2013. As a part of the development process for this edition, draft revisions to the current diagnostic criteria for psychiatric diagnosis are now available for public comment. The aims of the DSM-5 Task Force and 13 Work Groups are to develop criteria for diagnosis that reflect new advances in the science and conceptualization of mental disorders, and also...
