| In the latest quarterly update to the JCAHO standards manual for Hospitals, a revision to the Management of Information standard IM.6.10, element of performance number nine has been finalized. Element of performance number nine outlines the time frame for completion of the medical record post patient discharge as not to exceed thirty days after discharge. The revision to this element of performance is effective immediately.
