| Within The Joint Commission's (TJC) recent Hospital standards update are new Elements of Performance (EP's) for standard MM.03.01.01. The new EPs are effective as of January 1, 2009 but will not be scored until July 2009. TJC standard MM.03.01.01 requires hospitals to safely store medications.
