| The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is requiring the manufacturers of anti-epileptic drugs to add to the prescribing information or labeling, a warning that the use of anti-epileptic drugs increases risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors. The action includes all antiepileptic drugs including those used to treat psychiatric disorders, migraine headaches and other conditions, as well as epilepsy.
