| The JCAHO, in the August 2004 update to the standards manual has clarified several elements of performance under the Management of Human Resources chapter for standard HR.3.10. Elements of performance numbers seven (7) and eight (8) are addressed in the clarification. The existing element of performance number nine (9) has been moved to number ten (10) and a new element of performance number nine (9) has been added.
