| The Joint Commission (TJC) is seeking comments on the 2009 National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG). TJC is using a process similar to the Standards Improvement Initiative (SII) to revise the 2009 NPSGs. The revisions are scheduled to go into effect in January 2010. No new NPSGs will be generated as a result of these revisions.
