| The Joint Commission (TJC) standard MM.03.01.03 requires hospitals to safely manage emergency medicines. It is effective on January 1, 2009. Note: MM.03.01.03 is currently addressed in standard MM.2.30 Elements of Performance (EPs) 2, 3, 7.
