| The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has proposed a rule with new requirements for Hospital discharges notices. The proposed rule requires hospitals to give all Medicare beneficiaries a standardized notice of non-covered services the day before discharge. According to CMS, the new rule would be similar to the requirements now in place for home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facilities and hospices.
