| The Joint Commission (TJC) has revised its Leadership Chapter, effective January 1, 2009. Previous StayAlert notices reviewing the proposed changes have been published on, July 17, 2007, March 28, 2006 and October 6, 2005. Throughout the remainder of this year, the StayAlert Administrator will review best practices for select standards and elements of performance from the revised Leadership Chapter, including example policies and procedures where applicable.
