| In a May 24, 2008 Centers for Disease Control (CDC) "Updates for Clinicians" the CDC announced that Hydrox Laboratories, Elgin, Illinois, is voluntarily withdrawing from the market ALL 2oz, 4oz, 16oz and 32oz sizes of alcohol-free mouthwash and ALL 4oz size mouthwash containing 2.5 % alcohol.
