| The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has announced an extension to the effective date for new Conditions of Participation (CoPs) for Medicare-Participating hospices. On May 27, 2005, CMS published in the Federal Register proposed rule 42 CFR Part 418 that established new CoPs for Medicare-participating hospices.
