| The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has recently issued revised Interpretive Guidelines that relate to verbal orders and medical record entries (§482.23 and §482.24). The Interpretive Guidance is for a Final Rule that CMS finalized and issued in December 2006 and which became effective January 26 2007.
