| In accordance with the CDC, APIC, AHA, the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, the JCAHO has made available for download and distribution, a brochure for patients on ways to prevent infection. The brochure follows the JCAHO's "speak-up" format using the key letters in S P E A K U P to educate patients, in this instance related to infection control issues.
